Five Fail-Proof Ways That Spell Luck in Love

It's an inevitable fact of life that at some point in life, us intelligent and awesome individuals (yes, talking to YOU) will be reduced to a drivelling, drovelling, drooling pile of rubbish.
All due to the power of what the boffins call LOVE.
But then the question arises, what can be done to have your love returned by the unsuspecting person whom destiny (yeah, right) has chosen for you?

1. Yell in their ears. This tactic may be likened to the mating cry of the secretary bird, Sagittarius serpentarius.
The person will immediately fall in love with your voice blaring in their ears, like a foghorn, saving them from utter darkness and lack of love. Try it!

2. Write a passionate and utterly truthful love poem about them (don't forget to put your whole heart in it!), and organise a poetry recital at your workplace/school/club/friend circle.

Do not mention the name of the person you are dedicating it to, but keep winking suggestively in their direction. Also, do not forget to clasp your heart dramatically during your recital.

3. You know it's going to happen, THEY must know it's going to happen, or they NEED TO KNOW - why wait? Start treating them like a member of your family right now!
Your love will feel warm, welcome and embraced - try it now!

4. Impress them with your superior skills - and NOTHING(trust me) nothing works better than the powerful, adrenaline rushing game of Jump Over the Brick (idea taken from Hyperbole and a Half)
Try to jump as high as you can~ I've seen incompetent suitors trip over the brick in their haste to declare their love. This GUARANTEES the return of your love!

5. Lastly, if all else fails (pshawww this list is FOOLPROOF), then offer them teeny incentives.

You should try the last tactic before giving up altogether. Remember, everyone needs some encouragement first! You KNOW you are the right person for them - now the hard part is to let them know that too!

Remember, if they reject you the first time, be kind to them. Understand their plight - do not forget that us awesome people need to deal with people who are considerably less awesome than ourselves. Pat them on the shoulder and let them know that you will always be there for them in this time of darkness when they don't even know what THEY want.

I got this awesome idea of drawing the weird pictures from a marvelously funny blog titled Hyperbole and a Half. That blog writer is my inspiration <3
